Hello and thank you for visiting my website to learn about me and how I may be able to help you.

My name is Laura Hendrix and I am a happy and  goal-orientated person who enjoys life living here in Chicago, Illinois.  I have lived here all my life except when I went away to Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois, which will be discussed later.

There are many aspects of the city of Chicago that I enjoy such as the beautiful lakefront, incredible museums, as well as the many enticing dining restaurants all over the city. There are many types of ethnic restaurants to enjoy such as Polish, Bohemian, Italian, Greek, Middle Eastern and many many more.  

The pizza here in Chicago Rocks!  I don’t know which pizza place I like the best, they are all so good!

Not too far away from the city are also nature centers as well such as Starved Rock, which is one of my favorites. I feel as though I am one with nature when visiting. It is such a site to see. There are many different trails to hike along, and it is breathtaking!

I am a family orientated person and have wonderful parents. They have really taught me how to respect the earth and everything it has to offer including other people, wildlife, and nature.  They have a dog named Buddy who is so cute!  

Two of my most favorite people in the world are my nieces Lily, nine years old, and Gracy, who is seven years old.  They are new mommies to baby kitties names Paprika and Leopard, which were found alongside a road. Unfortuanely someone didn’t want them so they dumped on the side of the road. Fortunately my brother-in-law took the kitties and now the baby kitties are in good hands and are doing incredibly well and most importantly are loved and taken care of by very special girls, Lily and Gracy! The kitties are now five weeks old. 

This past summer I took my nieces to Six Flags Great America and boy did they have a great time!  I love seeing the smiles on their faces as we had and always have such a good time together! Nothing makes me happier!  I love going on Roller Coasters and so do they!

I have a wonderful boyfriend named Jeff.  He is heaven sent and I am so grateful we are together. We spend a lot of time together and learn from each other alot. We both love to go fishing, hiking, horsebackriding, cooking, and going to movies together. We just plain love haniging out together!

 I am also the mommie of a fuzzy grey kitty name Ajay. He just had a birthday and now he is thirteen years old and he thinks he is a human!

As I mentioned earlier I went to Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois.  I am really happy I went their because I really learned many things such as how to be responsible and independent, make new friends, balance my time, and learn what discipline is and how to employ it among myself. I graduated with two degrees: One in Photography ane the other in Art.

After graduating I worked as a free-lance Assistant Photgrapher for many Chicago Photographers which I really enjoyed. Then I worked for myself doing Wedding and Portrait Photography.  I did very well, however I always wanted to see what would happen if I used the other side of my brain and went into the Financial Services Sector such as the Insurance Field, still doing photgraphy on the side.  I wanted to take on a challenge!

So I did! I started selling Life Insurance and was very successful. I was the agent of the month from February to December, when I decided to change paths. I made really great money however there was one thing I was not happy about, the amount of time and money I spent on my business and the fact that I missed my family. I was only home 3 days a week and on those days I was doing paperwork and going to meetings and barely resting, let alone spending time with my family or my boyfriend. I also wasn’t able to do photography, which I love, since I was never home.  

The agency I worked with  pushed people to go out of state to sell and recruit, recruit, recruit! and that is what I did for about one year. At first I though it was cool seeing different parts of the United States, and believe me it was! However when I did my taxes I was disgusted, I spent so much money on traveling and buying leads, and never able to see the few people I didn’t get a hold of unless I wanted to spend money to go back to that area. It was unbelievable! The thing that really upset me the most was hearing from my upline how they were working with a personal trainer, which I know is quite pricey $$$, to get physically fit and thanking me for my incredible weekly sales I did for the agency. Please dont get me wrong, I have nothing against mlm’s, network marketing, agencies, building strong organizations and teams and people above me making more money than me, however when you are drained of everything from your physical to emotional health as well as your financial well being and you are continuosly urged to go back in the field to SELL, SELL, SELL and RECRUIT, RECRUIT, and then being told you are not recruiting enough it kind of takes a toll on you. When I was discussing the way I was feeling drained from traveling so much and wanting a closer territory I was constantly being reminded how awesome I was and how the “Agency” needs your production to stay ahead of eveyone nationally so our agency can keep getting the leads for the other producers.(that’s how the system worked high sales ratio= more leads) It took me awhile to see how this agency viewed me and I started feeling like I was being used and I no longer wanted to live that lifestyle anymore. It seemed as though nobody cared that I was exhausted or what I wanted in life or about my health or well-being. I was always given the out of state leads to purchase, never the ones close to home.

So I took control of my life and switched agencies and I am very happy I did because now I have a life and a family again and I am able to do my photograpy.  I am sorry that I had a bad experience however thankful at the same time.  Now I know what I really want to do, work from home and not have to hop on planes, ferries, (yes I was on a ferry in Washington State in order to see clients) or drive excessive miles in order to see my clients and make an Incredible Living.

So then I looked into an Online Business and joined one.  I made a mistake though, I didn’t do the necessary research on the business or sponsor I joined with,  I had a sponsor who didn’t help me alot and made me feel as though I was bothering him all the time. I was frustrated!

  Frustrated and angry I went online searching for something, I didnt know what I was searching but I found it.  It is called MyInternetBusiness.  I decided to do research on this business. I found a mentoring team called Mentors4U.  I gave them a call and they told me in order for me to have a successful online business I needed to know how to market effectively and they have mentoring and online training for that.  I did more research on my future sponsors of MyInternetBusiness. I was impressed.  Not only was I impressed with MyInternetBusiness compensation plan, products, training provided by the company, I was also impressed with the Mentors4u Team leaders, which are my sponsors.  I made my mind up in about 5 days and joined the team!

 I knew this was it! MyInternetBusiness was it!  Now we are in the Information Age, think about that for a moment, seriously.  We have the world at our finger tips..the World Wide Web… The World Wide Web otherwise know as the World Wide Cash Machine! Think of how many customers or clients we can offer our services too. And through MyInternetBusiness members are taught how to effectively market to all these people! It is Truly Amazing! There is so much more that can be done in the Information Age and why not start now and watch it just EXPLODE!!! and help others do the same!!!  There is no better time than the present!

I really like the fact that I can help people achieve their dreams by guiding them the right way.  I didnt have any guidance in the first online business that I was involved in and if I could help people from making the same mistakes that I did and get them on the right track so they can attain their dreams and goals that would be my pleasure!  If you want to learn something new you must surround yourself with those that already achieving what you want to achieve!
